Gabriella Heron is a Cree Métis visual artist and writer from Canada. Her work focuses on sensitivity and connections between inner workings and surrounding environments. She renders physical and emotional sensations through a mixture of abstract and figurative creations in various mediums. With a practice unique in its recognition of the odd and tender ways of experiencing the dread and pleasure of being alive, Heron visually and lyrically illustrates moments that are vibrant and spirited yet diaphanous and rosy. She graduated from Concordia University, Montreal, with a BFA in 2024. Heron is attending the University of Brighton in Brighton, England, for an MFA and will graduate in 2026.
